An integral part of the development of individuals with learning disabilities is to acquire new skills. Ashabhavan provides training in creation of art ,craft and other products and services to facilitate this learning. Training plans for each individual are designed and personalised based on the ability of each beneficiary.
The following is an illustration of the various products created by the beneficiaries after their training.
Apart from these, the beneficiaries are also trained in cooking, cleaning and gardening and other life skills.
After their course of training at Ashabhavan, depending on their abilities, beneficiaries are sent to various projects within the Women’s Fellowship which include Jewel Box cafeteria , Tabitha Tailoring centre and Agape wafer unit where they are employed.
